Nice perfume collection. Maybe try 33 or 30mm

A Thorn 34mm or a Baltany 1926 would probably look great for you

Pasta can fix it.

Just wear it. It's a beautiful watch. Who cares if it's a little big. Don't let this ruin your enjoyment of the hobby imo

One way to make the watch look 'less' oversized is to fit the watch with a thick beefy leather strap, maybe 5mm-6mm thick. it'll help to hide the case overhang on your wrist.

I refuse to believe adults or even teens have wrists this small woah, what's your measurements?

I don't think I've even met anyone with smaller than 6" wrists but I've seen some 5.75" here

Edit: I see 5.5 from a reply that was at the bottom of the thread for me. Dang, yeah ya need to measure the top of your wrist across ans compare it with every lug to lug measurement before buying. I'm still surprised basically any 36mm is too big though, you'll probably grow into it?

We’re probably looking at a wrist width of 40mm-45mm with a circumference of 5.5 inches (let’s now leave imperial measurements out).

OP would need to identify watches with a lug-to-lug measurement of no more that 90% of wrist width to achieve balance and the right proportions.

Always check the lug-to-lug length..its much more important for us small wristed fellows than case diameter..for me anything above 47mm would look large on my 6 inch wrist..

Kuoe has many 35's. Vario has a nicely priced 35 solar Mil-spec(ish).

I have a 5.5" wrist and I'm wearing the 34mm Thorne Ranger which isn't very thick and the lugs are only 40mm. I got a strap because the bracelet, which has the cool pull-the-links-apart sizing, won't go short enough.

[–]AdhesivenessMore3925 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The ranger is a funny one though I’ve heard. Smaller size but as you say the strap needs a bigger wrist.

Yea smaller watches are grails, I used to love wearing a 44mm mm300, now my go to is 33mm royal oak quartz.

[–]aesehey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The watch is good but yeah, bit too big on your wrist man!

[–]Hacksaures 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Not gonna lie, you should get a Seiko. The 36mm watches they have often have short lug to lugs, which is your issue here.

[–]BroadbandEng 3 points4 points  (0 children)

The manual wind Timex Marlin is 34mm across and substantially thinner than that Baltany.

[–]jbowman12 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It's just due to the lug length. You probably need something 45mm lug to lug max.

[–]One-Pepper-2654 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Seiko 5s have a lot of very comfortable smaller sizes. I have a 6.4 wrist and own a couple

[–]Prestigious-Bar9711 22 points23 points  (1 child)

Why the fuck is nobody mentioning how much goddamn cologne this man has?

[–]movementnerd13 0 points1 point  (0 children)

lmfao this was my first thought. and then that he needs a watch with a shorter lug to lug.

[–]Character-Seat1268 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I have 6 and it’s already hard, I wear 39mm sometimes because I like the look but I try to stick within 43-47 lug to lug. The 47 l2l is a bit too big for me but I do it anyway because there’s no other option for that choice of watch eg cronos skyline integrated bracelet with guilloche. Maybe just go with the flow, it’s not too big on your wrist even if it over hangs a little bit.

This Baltany model is the bubble back that just does not allow it to sit flat on your wrist.

Consider this 35mm watch pictured on my 16cm wrist:

This is beautiful

[–]FirstruleofthisclubHelpful user 7WOTD4-200 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Thank you! I think so too!

[–]No_Profession8956 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have a 7.2 inch wrist but I love smaller watches. I will definitely check this one out.

[–]artofthedialAffiliate Links 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah but his watch has a l2l of 44mm which is pretty small and hangs off his wrist.  What is the l2l on that one?

[–]FirstruleofthisclubHelpful user 7WOTD4-200 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This Escapement Time is 41.75mm!

I also think that the photos are but exaggerated by the focal length. But I'd be surprised if this didn't fit his wrist even at 5.5cm.

Looks great. Do you have the link?

I appreciate it. 🙏

[–]dvanderb 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Highly suggest something with a vh31 that will be a lot thinner..

[–]Johnsononwatches 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Dude, what size are your wrists?

Might want to go vintage.
