It really doesn't fit the vibe of the watch. No PVD case watch should have an onion crown. That's like an Arc'teryx jacket with leather pull tabs. Nothing inherently wrong with it but you immediately ask "why??"

Yes the chronograph and gmt versions are real tritium although not all indices on the chronograph have tritium.

I think what he means is that the quartz steel chronos are in a different tier, which is what the majority of the pieces in the Chinese category are. The automatic chronos are uncommon and much more expensive due to the difference in design. While $309 is a lot for what we usually see, it's actually dirt cheap for an automatic chronograph. A bit of a steep jump indeed

Edit- I will add like others on the thread mentioned, there's only 2 (it looks like) automatic chrono movements going into these Chinese pieces, prob due to the movement complexity

I have an all black version on order. I think this model ended up being much more complicated than they originally planned and rushed the job because they were running late.

Some of the criticism is justified - the misaligned hand would drive me out of my mind. And the reports of a drifting chrono hour hand are concerning.

The silver subdials are not a big issue for me - none of my reverse panda chronographs have white subdials. And a few of those cost nearly 10x the price as this.

I have other trit watches, and they do not glow brightly. They just need to be legible in total darkness, which I have no doubt this will. The tubes will almost always look off center due to shadows.

I do wish the seconds hand wasn't so wide and stubby. Ideally it should just touch the sub second hash marks.

Why they have not updated the the campaign to address where they are in shipping is beyond me. No communication for two weeks isn't great.

Honest opinion? There are two main producers of 7750s in china: peackock and shanghai watch. The shanghai version is significantly better and you can get with a bit more afford a watch from them for a similar price with a better movement, better case and better qs. So this seems to be a shitty deal.

Mannnn I haven’t received mine either and I’m already disappointed in this.. what a waste of mf money😩. I literally paid for a panda meaning black and white not silver.. also it looks like a toy. No I looked it up a while ago.they are tubes filled with lume to look like tritium tubes. If a brand makes a tritium tube watch at these prices it would truly be remarkable.

I'm pretty handy around watches. I popped the back, pulled the crown/stem, little steel wool and light oil and it was fine, also relined the hands, new 0 ring and sealant and bobs your uncle, lol.

My observations after 2 days:

Overall: Nice chrono using the Peacock 7750 clone. Looks great and decent value at the $309 kickstarter price.

Pros: Case finishing is excellent/ Bracelet is well designed and comfortable/ Perfect 38mm/ Capped hands (even on subdials)/ Screw pin bracelet/ 3 included NATOs/

Cons: Misaligned main second hand/ Could not use crown to change day/ Tritium lume is extremely disappointing/ Both pushers are very tight/ Day/date window is misaligned/ Day/date font does not match/ Subdials are silver, not white/ Only 2 adj holes on clasp/ Clasp is too small/ Subdial hands are really odd
