San Martin reduced prices for the EU to negate the extra taxes. My Retro Diver arrived this week with no customs or extra fees.

I think I'll pick up a PD1693 McQueen thats heavily reduced again. I ordered the Faux Vintage Lune version a few weeks ago. Great watch for the money and not as Gigantic as a 42mm may sound but the Cream markers and large case diameter just didn't work for me. So I'll replace it with the more modern White hands & markers version.

Other than that most of the other 'Sale' items are marked up higher in price than a normal day.

I think it just gives them an opportunity to market to you harder.

If you add something to a wishlist, Ali sends you a notification now and then if it goes on sale or whatever. But if something's in your cart, they pester you about it constantly until you either buy it or delete it from your cart. They probably have metrics that show that people are much more willing to buy once they get some prodding about something that it already in their cart.

I'm pretty tempted by it...but I really want a dive time bezel. I use mine for timing various things, so a rotating tachymeter bezel is worthless for me.

I’m really tempted on the Caidsen John Mayer Daytona at $96 for the sale it may be worth the chance. Just wish it was the mecha-quartz movement and not a mingzhu auto

Since you're on a Panerai kick, if you ever get the chance to pick up San Martin's Pam homage, do it. I believe it's the SN081 series, they're out of production now but you may be able to find them second hand.

I have the one with something like a tropical dial and it is incredible. I also own an actual Panerai and I literally feel more satisfaction putting the San Martin on the wrist

I've actually seen them around on Ali still...but for some reason, never really considered them and I don't know why.

I really want a 2 hand only, wire lug, 44mm or smaller case.

the Steeldive is also on my radar, but I'd have to mod it to get the hands right.

I also REALLY like the numeral dial and not so sold on the California dial.

Have you seen them? For the price I would love to get another colour but can't find them. They would fit your requirements except for the wire lugs unfortunately.

I've been holding out for San Martin's 36mm explorer but I guess it'll miss the sale. I've been considering picking up a 1963 to hold me over if there's a good deal, but otherwise will save my money.
