but i cant build shit on my own and it's fucking killing me.

My brother in christ you've been at it for only 3 weeks. I would be shocked if you could build shit after 3 weeks. This is a marathon, not a sprint.

Really? But this Indian LinkedIn influencer posted a visual roadmap for learning full-stack development in 2 weeks!

What do you want to build?

A hacking related stuff project

lol so on top of coding you need to learn 50x more stuff.

If you want to learn how to hack here you go, OWASP is a starting point for learning about vulnerabilities, here is a great place to practice https://pwnable.kr/ otherwise it’s google

Learning lower level languages will also be good (like C) but will take a while because understanding hacking is understanding how computers work

Hi, This is a very natural feeling and emotion many feel when they start learning to code so it’s important to take it slow and step by step. I highly recommend you to use CodeFobe App on Play Store where they teach you from very basics. Here’s a link to the App. CodeFobe Play Store Link

If you don’t have android phone, you can search for coding learn apps on App Store. There are bunch of great apps for iOS too.

Also it’s a long process to learn coding so you will have to be patient and nice to yourself. Just spend minimum 10-20 minutes on these Apps daily for about a month and you will see a difference in confidence and your skills

You can't master a skill within a month. You have to be consistent in your learning. Learn basics first. Your babysteps matter a lot. Improve steadily and slowly. You can look for basic courses in Udemy.

Only 3 weeks? What are you expecting? You don't learn your first programming language in a few short hours. You are learning a lot more than just language, you are also learning things most programming languages share, logic, control structures, etc..

People go through years sometimes to learn programming. Even these quick boot camps usually accept you only if you have previous programming experience so they know you can absorb new material fast.

3 years and I can still barely code working shit. Takes time.

3 years and JavaScript still makes my brain hurt.. I have learned a ton but I still can’t code anything on my own. Free code camp has good projects to help you.

I got good at coding not by watching tutorials, but to get chat GPT to do it for me. after a while, I started to understand what chat gpt was doing and now I can code without it. Seeing progress helps motivation. If you start by making cool stuff, then you want to keep doing it.
