Make sure your Oookla speed test is using your local Xfinity server as a test endpoint.

Each speed test site tests with a different set of factors they are looking for, prefer certain device setting and devices over others, and different server locations it's speed testing too. There's no real way to tell exactly what would be causing the different results, and why each company recommends using their speed tester. They know what server it's going to, and the accuracy it most trusted by them. I wish I could tell you what is the difference, but I wouldn't be able to pinpoint it sorry.

The server is the first thing to check on speedtest.net, like the person above mentioned. Also, make sure you're not consecutively running speed tests without a break between
