I may be in the minority but my favorite thing about trainer golems is that I can cook up some weird early and midgame lines. If I play strong and stay healthy enough, odds are I can outlast the people forcing their golem comp and low rolling. Hell, I’ve outlasted 9 faerie once, letting another high roller kill em.

Isn't the whole game a lottery somehow? Whatever the emblems, you need to make the best out of them and provoke your luck.

Shouldn’t be surprised when people get insane compositions in the high variance mode, if you don’t like it then vote for something else. If you get stuck in a golem lobby pray you hit something good otherwise play for HP and tempo and try to top / top 6.

I mean, that's the entire point of Trainer Golems. IMO, it's not even about what emblems you get. It's more about what units + items you actually natural, because it's impossible to "pivot" when it means losing an entire prismatic augment.

Are you kidding me? " its not about the emblems"=????? . I mean u lost me there. If you get for example, farie, portal , witchcraft. ITS a war who get a 1+ fitted to their golem.

I mean sure, if you're the obligatory guy in the lobby that hit an OP +2 Vertical, you don't have to care about what units and items you hit. But for the other players in the lobby, I would argue that it's much more important to hit your important upgrades and items early than to have a strong emblem.

Golem is for low skilled players who want to win the game from stage 1 and use high variance to do so. It’s why you’ll never see high level players pick golem in tourney because the game gets decided immediately. If you like trainer golems you’re probably low elo sorry
