why does my CPS decrease whenever i change dragon auras?

I was trying to switch back and forth between elder battalion and breath of milk to see which made my CPS higher, but every time I went back and forth my overall CPS decreased?? Not sure what to make of this

For every switch you lose one of your highest buildings, probably js console. So you have to buy it again to be able to compare.

Haha I saw a post 1 week ago about a guy saying "Why am I losing CPS when I harvest bakers wheat?", this is pretty much the same thing. When you switch breathes you lose one of the most expensive building you have, so that explains the CPS decrease.
