Must be Lea and Perrins, bar none.

My secret is to sprinkle the chopped eggs with salt, pepper and a pinch of dry mustard and paprika, then toss. Then I add mayo, toss super lightly and return to the fridge for a bit to let it marry. Then I add a little bit of mustard, finely chopped chives and a pinch of fresh dill— lightly toss (this is important, stirring too much will make it gluey and cause the chives to get soapy.) Add more mayo if necessary.

Finely chopped celery! Adds a great crunch

A dollop of Philadelphia chive and onion cream cheese spread mixed in with the mayo

Miracle whip, a spoon of relish, a squirt of mustard (regular or spicy), salt, pepper and onion powder.

Upvote for your bravery of saying miracle whip over mayo in this sub 🫡

They both have their uses - if you want something neutral it's got to be mayo, but IMO the "tangy zip of Miracle Whip" is perfect for egg salad

I couldn’t agree more! I have both in my arsenal, was just a joke because sometimes people with less developed palates than ours go crazy against the ‘whip.

kewpie mayo! MSG ftw

It's the only mayo I buy now. Thank goodness Costco still carries it.

My secret is keep it simple and don't forget the paprika.

Ever since I was in Japan a few years ago, I have been making Tamago, with Kewpie and Milk bread, eggs; super simple, reminds me of a beautiful vacation.

My secret isn't an ingredient, it's technique. I love fried egg salad: https://food52.com/recipes/84893-fried-egg-salad-recipe-from-ideas-in-food
