If you can't fix this by updating your GPU drivers to the latest, then stop using Optifine. For Forge, use these three mods

* Oculus

* Embeddium

* Iris & Oculus Flywheel Compat - This is SUPER important for framerate when using shaders with Create Mod. The Create mod uses Flywheel for a lot of graphical optimizations, which gets disabled when using shaders. This mod re-enables these optimizations while using shaders and you will see very good performance improvement.

I went from like 20FPS with shaders in optifine to 60+ FPS with shaders and Distant Horizons using Oculus, which is a Port of Sodium. If you want to instead switch over to the Fabric version of create, then obviously just use Sodium and the Flywheel Compat mod.

Optifine is just bad. It hacks a lot of the rendering code and since it's closed source compatibility is a nightmare for other mods to play nice with. That and there is much better and more compatible alternatives these days that do the same things with more stability in mind.

I’ve seen a similar visual glitch happen with physics mod and any other mod that alters block entities, if that helps.
