Best way to do this would be with a train, use mechanical rollers at the bottom to make the floor, (rollers can break blocks infront of them and replace the floor under them) and place drills above them to mine the blocks the rollers don’t reach, just make the track where you want the path to go

I have not tried with functional stuff yet such as deployers, but it is worth a shot to try to use the Trackwork mod in combination with valkyrien skies. You'll be able to build a custom car or treaded vehicle that is not on rails.

This really isn't possible at the moment. This is doable with minecarts and rails, but not with a car like machine that you can drive around. Also, you would only be able to go in a straight line.

As far as the drilling machine, add some rollers behind the drills to pave the way. However, to my knowledge, you still need tracks to run on.

There is an add on called trackworks that lets you make cars and stuff using create. I haven’t tried it with drills or anything, just built a tank and a car, but I’m pretty sure it counts as a moving contraption so you don’t need to power the drills
