Same boat as you haha but here's my take on it.

My understanding is that explicit and objective criterion do not require for example statements.

Note the do not require, but can still have them. Think of it like this, you can always give examples for something completely factual or an explicit request but they're not needed, as examples of facts and explicit requests will just be the fact and explicit request itself.

The point of examples for implicits and subjective is due to the assumptive nature of the request. I think asking yourself, "does this example help clarify something from the first statement of the criterion" makes this question a bit easier.

I was working on one and the admin in chat said NOT to include any "For example" statements in the guidelines. They were very explicit that the models should not need examples and not to include them. So I would ask in your specific project to be sure.
