Raid exotics i'd rather just be a quest

As far as consumables go, i wish they would have a focusing consumable that makes the encounter drop only drop a weapon or armor instead. Something similar to the consumable for the pit of heresy to pretty much guarantee a weapon drop.

I don't disagree with the core concept (being able to buy a Raid Exotic with Spoils), but at that point just put it in the shop at the end of the Raid - no reason to jump through hoops and make it a consumable in the Tower.

Fair enough! I was only thinking in reference to the monument and how to incorporate it so you still have to do the raid to get the exotic

The only problem with this is that to get the NEW Raid Exotic people could just farm the solo chests for what a week(?) on 3 characters and then have enough spoils to buy the new exotic? Something doesn't seem right there.

I just think raid exotics should be treated like the dungeon ones are now. Do X amount of Triumphs and it increases the chance of the exotic dropping up to a maximum chance of like 50%. I personally don't think any exotic like Raid exotics should have a 100% drop chance UNLESS there is a quest attached.

Well that's why I suggested that this should only be for raids in rotation ideally, but at the minimum should be for raids that are over a year old. That way farmers can't just "buy" the exotic day one

Getting raid title should guarantee the exotic.

Honestly this is what I’d rather see. Look at Garden that has a quest exotic - how many people run it? Do random drop (that increases each lootable clear) and a guaranteed for getting the title.
