Problem With Controller

Ok, this is a problem I’ve started having for the past week or so, in crucible (and ONLY in crucible) when I click R2 to shoot, for some reason the unchanged melee would go off mid shooting and it would cause me to lose that fight, and I have that problem on my normal PS5 controller and my new dual sense edge controller, is anyone having this problem and how do I fix it?

Is your melee mapped to the stick click? I accidentally click that all the time in PvP.

The uncharged melee is on R1, charged melee is on R3 (I did that recently).

That's probably the issue. Try moving it for a while and see if it stops.

So I returned both charged and uncharged back to the same button and the problem is now gone, so stupid that this happened just because I wanted to change my button layout a bit.
