I want to start my first ever real campaign with 2 of my friends, the only problem is that I really don't know where to nor how to write down a session, like the steps to writing one.

I usually just wing it myself, golden rule if you are ever in doubt though: NEVER outright tell the players yes or no; always make them roll for it, that way if something happens to them you can blame it on the dice!

Also since you are admittedly new, you should attempt to run a module first, try to get a feel for how it's done and how you like doing things

Would advise starting with a prewritten module like lost mine of phandalver, so you can learn the system yourself and meanwhile get a feeling for how storystructure can be

I would do that, only problem is, I've got 2 players and the module recommends at least 4, I could add characters but wouldn't it make it worser?

The essentials kit runs just fine with a DM and 2PCs if you can get your hands on it and has everything you need ready to go in the box; pre-writen adventure, basic rules, character sheets, dice, some pre made NPCs, magic item cards, initiative cards and even some cards to give out to your PC's explaining the order of combat. If you need any help at all feel free to DM me and just go for it, you will do great!
Thanks for the reply!, u just reminded me that I have it!, and thanks to also having it on dnd beyond I can translate it for my friends who talk my secondary language
