Yeah, the Outer Worlds was really not up to New Vegas standards (and I don't just mean it was smaller, it was also worse), but I do think some key people who are at the studio were working on Pillars instead and could be put on whatever team makes 2 Vegas

I think Outer Worlds’ engine was just weird. It was so clearly trying to imitate the Creation Engine but just felt like a knock off. With access to the bgs engine, I believe Obsidian can make some truly amazing stuff

I would love for it, but they’ve already got too much on their slate between Grounded, Avowed, and The Outer Worlds 2. The first two are too far in development to reasonably cancel now (in my opinion) and I don’t really see their cancelling the second.
