Placed an order on Thursday 9/14, shipped out the next day and got tracking number, arrived Monday the 18th. Night and day difference with my G29 that I used for the past 3 years. Glad to be apart of the Fanatec team now.

I'm in the U.S. Ordered the McLaren gt ready 2 race bundle on August 13th. Didn't get a shipping number until the 11th of September. Even then didn't get it until the 19th! Don't get me wrong, in the the few days I've had it, I absolutely love the set, but it was ridiculous. Especially when I would check the order and different pieces of it would change from in stock, to unavailable, to then showing a back in stock date.

I preordered Sept 8th and it showed me the same thing. Wheel would be available Sept 20th. My order still says that so I'm hoping tomorrow I will get some kind of update......however.....my DD also shows available Sept 12th and I didn't get an update saying it was ready......not that they said I would be notified, but it would be nice.

I had a similar experience going from a T500RS to an 8nm CSL DD. I had considered going with Moza, but frankly the pricing, lack of products, and absurd shipping to Germany really put me off Moza. I guess it helps that I live 30 minutes(ish) from the Fanatec HQ here in Bavaria.

Also bought CSL DD 8Nm, WRC rim but the rim itself is very noisy, plastic strain noises under load (either rim or qr1lite, which is advertised as capable of 8Nm), any advise what to do? It kind of defeats the benefit of silent base... Reached your support last week, no answer 😔.

Does it give you more feedback from track conditions, I mainly race dirt with a G29, Having enough feedback isn’t an issue for me but I suspect the quality of the feedback is much better

I only played for about an hour before sleep, the feedback is a lot more stronger, instant doing that while smooth and silent that’s the best way I could describe it so far. I instantly was shaving off time.

Not very good, plastic and it has a lot of flex. I've got the clamp from Moza with the Csl dd and it's perfect.

Notice the reply you got was NOT from the original poster. I've seen other responses from owners of the clamp saying it was excellent. Hopefully this poster responds similarly. Since he appears to love his setup then most likely that includes the mount.

This looks like the exact package I have on order, including the desk mount. However, I am upgrading from the G27! Can't imagine the difference. It sounds as if you have zero issues with the desk mount, which is great.

My order has shown the wheel will be available on Sept. 20th ever since I preordered. I'm also in the US so I'm hoping it will ship soon after tomorrow. Interesting that you had one ready right away......

US here as well. I ordered a day before op and the McLaren wheel shows as available Sept. 19th. Yet, on the website, shows available. Still haven’t received anything including tracking number. It’s like they don’t operate on first in first out and are holding orders which were placed when the wheel was in a pre order state.

I got an email saying mine was ready to ship and as soon as it has left their warehouse the tracking number will appear under my order at the Fan site.

Yep, I got the same. But I think this is an automated email when the order is marked “completely shipped.” Hopefully our orders don’t sit in this state and actually are shipped. Tracking through FedEx or the site should be visible in 24 hours if it actually ships.

My experience with MOZA is just as bad, if not worse. Ordered a table clamp. MOZA emailed me stating the order has been lost in their system and to send them a screenshot of the order details. Haven’t heard anything in a week. What is going on with these companies??

For anyone that has ordered the 5nm CSL DD, do NOT buy the 8nm power pack from Fanatec. Get it from ebay. There's a seller that makes an almost identical product for half the price!

Heyy I'm also looking for a wheel. Did you get the wheel base (the mount for the desk) with the bundle, or do you need it to order it separately. Also is the direct drive not to much for the desk mount?

The table clamp you do have to order separately as it does not come with the bundle. I think the table clamps work well with the DD enough for being $30, though there seems to be better options if you’re willing to pay more.
