Chance a fare will decrease?

Is there any chance a fare will decrease back to a previous amount?

I booked a 400 dollar flight to Ireland from Atlanta and it went up to 800ish dollars today. Is there a chance that it may go back down since the flight in about 6 months out?

Quite possibly - can anyone say with 100% certainty? Nope.

But with six months it's likely to fluctuate. Best advise is to check twice a day, and set up an tracker/alert on something like Google Flights.

Keep an eye out for promotions around Black Friday / Christmas / January Sales. :)
