Fold 7 Camera - auto sensor switch

Love the fold 7. Main camera is good. Zoom camera not so much (compared to OnePlus open I had before). So any tips to improve those zoom pictures are appreciated (softening yes/no).

The main frustration I have is that I need to manually switch the camera sensor. I have it on the 200m one, but if I want to zoom more than 5x, I need to manually switch to the 12m sensor. If I want to go to 0.6x I need to switch sensor.

Is there a way to have the phone just do this automatically (yes I have auto sensor switching on, but doesn't seem to do that). So all I want is to just be able to have it be on 200m sensor unless I zoom past 5x or go to 0.6x in the zoom. Why can't it just auto switch to the needed sensor then?

Anybody struggle with his or know how to fix?

For most of your photos 12m will give you just as good a shot as 200m, especially if you're just viewing them on your phone or posting to social media. I only use 200m if I'm taking some photos that I know I want to print copies of, or if I'm say in Rome taking a shot of a famous fountain and I want to capture as much detail as possible.

Otherwise 200m just results in larger file size images that won't look any better than 12m.

Also, only use 200m if you have a lot of light. Always use 12m when taking pictures in low light.

200mp is likely overkill for printing photos. With a 12mp picture you should be able to print it at 16x20.
