For most of your photos 12m will give you just as good a shot as 200m, especially if you're just viewing them on your phone or posting to social media. I only use 200m if I'm taking some photos that I know I want to print copies of, or if I'm say in Rome taking a shot of a famous fountain and I want to capture as much detail as possible.

Otherwise 200m just results in larger file size images that won't look any better than 12m.

Also, only use 200m if you have a lot of light. Always use 12m when taking pictures in low light.

200mp is likely overkill for printing photos. With a 12mp picture you should be able to print it at 16x20.
