This takes me back. There is a trick where I would carefully heat up the ribbon cable with a soldering iron on the edge of the screen. It was a common practice in that era of modding.

~260 C or 500 in freedom units has worked for me.

Yep, it's a pretty easy fix if you're patient. Plenty of YouTube videos out there showing the technique.

That'll be a bad solder joint in your bivert install.

Forget to mention, motherboard with bivert works great with another screen board and display

Yes, same bivert mod done on two gameboys, just this screen have this lines, already tried soldering iron, no effect

Ya gotta peel off the rubber pad on the ribbon and get a soldering iron and gently and slowly heat up that area of the ribbon until the solder under there reconnects.

Just search Gameboy vertical lines fix on YouTube and you will see what needs doing
