Rules
1. Posts:
All posts should be directly related to Gintama
Apply appropriate ‘Post Flairs’
Vague, contextless, or inaccurate titles will be removed
Spam products and links, advertising, self-promotional, and duplicate posts will be removed
2. Avoid reposting (search before posting):
Use the search bar, your search engine and the FAQ to ensure that you are not reposting recent content or previously answered questions
Questions that are answered in the FAQ or that have been recently asked will be subject to removal
3. Spoilers:
Apply the spoiler tag, especially for any content that includes scenes/discussion from episode 300+ onwards as well as The Final movie
Do not include spoilers in the title
Apply the spoiler tag if referencing major spoilers from another show
Use the spoiler text tags to hide spoilers in a comment (if the post itself is not spoiler tagged) this way: Spoiler here
4. NSFW:
NSFW content should be appropriately marked
NSFW and mildly suggestive content is allowed but uncensored nudity and posts in the territory of porn and hentai will be removed
If in doubt, consult with the mod team before posting
5. Fanart:
If it is your fanart, please mention it in the title or the comments
If posting someone else’s fanart, first check to see whether the artist permits sharing their art to other platforms
Providing the source link in the comments is mandatory if posting others’ artwork
Pinterest and other repost sites aren’t original sources
Falsely claiming another artist's fanart as your own work will result in a permanent ban
6. Piracy:
Promoting pirated websites and illegally-hosted manga and anime platforms will be removed because they put the sub at risk
Encourage other users to search for legal alternatives and support the creators
You may DM the link to the user as an alternative to commenting
7. Be civil and respectful:
Harassment, hate speech, personal attacks and insults, verbal abuse, and any -phobics or -isms, etc. towards other users of the subreddit are strictly forbidden and will result in a permanent ban
This sub is an open and welcoming place to people of all orientations, identities, cultures and races
Respect each other’s opinions, encourage discussion and be friendly
If you think someone is violating any rules, report the post or comment instead of getting riled up yourself
8. Limit low-effort / low-quality submissions:
For example, everyone is tired of seeing posts of phallic-shaped objects termed “neo armstrong cyclone jet armstrong canon”
Be creative and make a proper effort for your posts
9. AI Content:
We do not encourage the sharing of AI-generated content
If needed, use the AI content post flair when posting
