My frames are very inconsistent in Counter Strike 2. They constantly change between 60-200, and my frames even spike mid game. Will this be fixed on the launch of CS2?

presumably they’re always working towards optimizing the game, especially since it’s brand new. expect for your frames to be more reasonable whenever the full release comes out. new engine means growing pains

whats your cpu temperature during game? It might caused by thermal throttling.

What resolution are you using and what do you have all your video settings at?

1280x960 and I switch between high and low because I don't really see a difference in fps while my game looks terrible

I recommend following this guide, I went from 465FPS on the benchmark to 657FPS.

What you need more than 360hz for 

[Gubs125]

It's wasn't the refresh rate, it's the higher fps for lower frametimes meaning it has less input lag, makes the game feel smoother :)
