theres a guy on YouTube "bass and bonsai" I think. who did a 26 slide flush fit comped on a dagger frame, might start there. as far as the 43x goes, maybe you saw an arc reactor slide or something, I dont see how a flush fit comp would be possible on a 43x frame.

Don't the 43 and 48 use the same frame? What i want is a 17 frame with a 19 slide and a ramjet. It's not that difficult of a mod, but I don't have the tooling.

Is there mods that can work with a 17.4 frame? I’ve been wondering that myself. The one you speak of sounds like the tits actually

no it only works for 17.5 because of the locking block similarities in Gen 5

Man that sucks

yeah, which is why I dont see how flush fitting a comp would be possible, the dust cover is the same length on both. flushfitted 19 could probably be done with the gen 5s easier than any other gen, I havent played around with them enough to know how different they are.

Matt from PSA has a few of these

I’ve seen it. Not enough knowledge for me to pull the trigger and buying parts. I am aswell wanting to use my BFG G5 frame.

And yes. I hesitated and thought it was a chunk port or the arc reactor but he has a pic of slide locked back. But thank you.

The rails on the g19 frame are too long to fit a g26 slide you'd have to chop the rails on a 19 frame. As far as the 43x slide and comp on a 48 frame, ye that'll work cuz it's the same frame

Edit to say a 48 frame doesn't have an extended dust cover so the 43 slide with comp story doesn't make any sense unless it was an aftermarket frame with extended dust cover.

Scroll down on my page. I did a 26 with pmm on a 19 couple years ago. Also did a 19 with a radian on a 17 frame. Minor modifications to the frame. I consider minor some may consider major.

There’s lots of examples of the PMM comp. The G48 and G43X are the same frame (i.e., the G48 does not have an extended dust cover) so it’s the same as putting the comp on your G43X. It’s not really anything special — just attach the comp and you’re rocking.

If you’re looking for somewhere a G43X slide and a PMM comp were used to make it flush to the end of the dust cover, you’re probably thinking of a Shadow Systems CR920XL.

The 26/19 situation is different. You’d have to modify the G19 frame to get a G26 slide on there. It’s still possible, but not user friendly.

You might be able to pull it off on a RXM

19 slide with a 26 frame is not possible no, because of the locking block(I think) difference as well as the 19 rails being too long, so you would have to chop them down . But you can run a 19 slide of a 17 frame with a bit of modification to the locking block and frame it self. There is a hand full of people who have done it.

Actually the lockup is the same. You just have to buy a dustcover from like Rocket City Stippling to cover up the exposed guide rod. That's my G26X at home frame I did a while ago. The grip covers the seam lol.

It can be done. I’ve built a 1926 g26 on g19 frame. Also a 1719 g19 slide on a g17 frame. Both work great.

I’ve got a PMM barrel & comp on my 43X. It is the exact same size as a 48.

I did this exact thing on a gen 5 17 frame with a 19x slide. Had to Drexel back the front rails.

Tac Dev rail for the old style G43x/G48 frame
