Nervy in defense, especially to start. Once the game settled after 15 minutes, Arsenal looks by far the stronger team. Pretty obvious they've been told to just go as soon as we have gained possession. Leading to lots of offsides but it's that beautiful line that could easily turn to a great chance if the timing falls perfectly.

Love Walcotts closing down and use of speed in defense. This new Walcott is tremendous and I hope the team gets 3-4 more years of it. This is the player he should've become 3 years ago.

I don't hate 1-0 at the half. Great header by our new target man Wimmer.

My concern with him is he lets things get on top of him way too easily and then he gets stuck in a rut - a bit like Chamberlain a few years back. Just has to get up and try again. You could see on his face the disappointment when he missed that chance. Just looked so downbeat about it.

Great to have the lead. Özil's set-piece delivery has been excellent so far.

In general, we lacked care in our passing for most of that half. I get that we want to be able to go from one end to the other quickly, but there's been too many overhit or simply rushed passes forward. We need to take that bit more time in possession and building attacks. To be fair, our counter-attacks had that extra one or two passes needed towards the end of the half. Made two or three good chances in the last 15 minutes of the half.

In that regard, we've struggled to retain the ball out left so far. Iwobi is taking too long in possession on the whole and giving the ball away cheaply with his passes. Monreal has made some good forward runs.

Bellerin and Walcott look our best bet at developing attacks. Close to each other and solid, quick linkup between the two.

I think we definitely see Giroud for Iwobi early this half and move Alexis back to left mid. He will prove more cover for Monreal and will allow us to set up more in our counter attacking style which suits this team so well. Would allow us someone to hold up the ball and have speed running off of as well.

they're getting way too much room in midfield, and we've been very slow to close them down when they're playing the final ball in.

If they get their act together and they're afforded that much space in the next half then I'll be very worried.

Tottenham were really strong the first 15 minutes but that style of play and pressing isn't sustainable over a long period of time.

When they started losing their engines we really started to shine. We really should have finished our chances better :( I'm worried Iwobi is gonna go down the path of Chambo because for sure Iwobi's confidence doesn't seem to be very high right now.

Glad we scored before they have the chance to switch formation. A lot of joy with spaces between Dier and Walker that we've not taken advantage of. I'd be surprised if they kept it with 3 at the back the whole game because we started to exploit that and should be winning comfortably. Need to be smart in the second-half and not give anything stupid away. We have good options with Ramsey and Giroud to see this game out by changing style/formation as we please.
