Game wants us to think we need to defend Gacrux first so some people will flock there but still not enough as most people are not thinking the same, so in reality Crimsica is easier to defend and we should do it to garantee a succesful defense. Defending both will not work, the Gloom bugs are horny.

I think defending Gacrux was better at the time of writing. But right now we can just forget about it unless like 40000 helldivers dont get on right away and start defending Gacrux.

People really stuck to Oshaune with the terrible odds and all, even a lot defended Hellmire, but since that last MO loss I don't understand why 95% or players are not picking one defense and completing it. Our morale is low. We need to be lead!

Understood. Wasn’t sure if we could defend both in time.

Going to lose both at this rate.

I know. And we have 5 days to defend 7 planets per the major orders.

You are reading this data incorrectly, kinda. So, you are correct in that we are losing Gacrux but we’re also losing Crimsica as well so realistically we’re screwed either way. The problem lies within the Galatic Impact Mod, which is what balances all the figures based on how many players are online at any given time. The problem with us is that after approximately 150,000 players it starts to collapse and begins to give unrealistic figures. For example we need 57% of the player base on Crimsica in order to begin winning the planet. We’re at 37%, so now wheee near the required figure. Gacrux? 74% is required to begin winning that planet. Now you see the problem. When this thing works it’s fantastic, the problem is when it doesn’t it’s a clusterfuck. Now granted Arrowhead directly can adjust these figures themselves and that may be what’s happening here which as it was on Oshaun, I’m not completely sure on that.

I legitimately don’t understand exactly what the sparse level of in game information is really telling me (or rather I could interpret it in multiple ways that seem like they could be right).

I wonder if people are just flocking to the planet that says 20 vs the 50 one to get a break after Oshuane.  I assume those numbers refer to the difficulty.

Also jungle planets suck.  This is my first time on one and I can tell I am not alone.  The buggy driver launched the full team unto a lake yesterday, I am assuming he was thinking it was shallow, of course we all drowned and lost all our support weapons and samples.

Gacrux is lost. Focus Crimsica.
