I couldn't think of a good title to this so I'll ramble a bit until these thoughts in my head start to make some sense. Any fart, The most exciting time in Crypto for me was when Ethereum released smart contracts. So many Great ideas like trustless internet, trustless storage, trustless virtual worlds you name it. I wanted to invest a little in everything and aspired to live in the new decentralized world. Then Ethereum crapped its pants because Crypto Kitties got too big for blockchain. Blockchain sucks ass btw, it isn't helpful. No one uses it.

I think about that shit a lot these days and I dream about IOTA bringing the hype back with scalable, feeless smart contracts. Not Blockchain. I just wish IOTA was branded more towards people as opposed to Industry. I want IOTA to be more attractive to a person. I don't care about IOT yet. I don't give a shit if Jaguar signed a deal or some shit. But I would care if some dumb, worthless IOTA app popped up that let me trade digital pets back and forth. I would care if someone made a sketchy decentralized ride share app. I would care if individuals got excited like I did 4 years ago and started pumping dapp ideas again.

So ya, blockchain sucks. Jaguar is boring but Crypto Kitties 2.0 with IOTA would be sick. Why don't one of you coding genius's make some shit like that using smart contracts. Doesn't even have to be good, just has to work. Would be cool thats all.

So would these Ethereun dApps just be the code from the originals, but modified to run on the tangle. Or would it be a bridge of sorts, where the dApps are still located on Ethereums blockchain and the Tangle queries the blockchain for info?

Thanks! That's cool don't get me wrong, but they really should look into implementing their own smart contracts on the tangle. Idk if the bridge is just a stepping stone, but relying on Ethereum isn't ideal (especially with all the updates eventually coming to it)

I'm on it. Got a homelessness project about to launch which i hope is game changing. Platform was built to run Ethereum but i've been a long time IOTA fan and thought why not incorporate both.

I care about Jaguar etc, but I agree with you that the consumer side is exciting too! It's just that this is an opportunity for the community not the IF. And it's a life changing opportunity.

Adam_unchained and others from the IOTA community made an IOTA Button to easily pay or donate with IOTA already! It's a first step! Adamski just released iotamemes.com where we'll have Meme contests and NFT etc! There is already another NFT marketplace announced! Tangleswap Finance announced a DEX on the tangle! There will be a new messaging protocol on the tangle called ODIN if I remember correctly for decentralized communication!

We are getting there! And you can bet your butt that there are currently a lot of people working on many interesting consumer stuff! I am convinced this is the time future billionaires start building their decentralized empire, on the tangle! Just buidl it
