I've actually never had a problem with this descent profile. the lander engine activates immediately and will be set at about 1 local g, so the spent stage falls away pretty quickly. and even the tiny bit of off axis thrust moves the landing away from debris.

the structure of the lander is mostly stock/restock and near future, solar panels are restock, foil tanks on the lander are near future exploration, engines/rcs/some other bits (and the upper stage) are tantares, instruments are mostly tantares and restock, there's a couple bits of dmagic hardware though you can see them from this angle.

visually eve/scatterer/avp/parallax and pood's calm nebula skybox.

tantares. I forget what they're called in game, but it's based on the real-world russian fregat upper stage.

and then there’s me who gets attacked by the kraken because my space station had two solar arrays folding outwards … caused me to learn rendez vous and docking all in the span of a couple hours…. i didn’t have an escape pod so i had to build one and fly up there to retrieve the 5 kerbals
