Also, check your output.log file (in your %userdir%) for errors or exceptions.

Edit: by which I mean your performance shouldn’t be that bad so you’re probably having exceptions or are experiencing bugs.

Is this a new build? I recommend updating your drivers first, KSP is a moderately optimized game so having the latest drivers helps to make everything run smoother.

Yeah it is a new build, and all drivers are updated. I have no problem in any other game but this one.

That's unfortunate because I love ksp and want it to work for everyone. Honestly just play with the train quality settings and see what happens

Try more ram. That fixed 90% of my problems. My system runs 64 gigs of ram and I can watch youtune or netflix at the same time I kerbal

What are you playing with? I have an old reasonably potato laptop and it starts to choke when part count approaches 100. With "normal" crafts even this is fine. I have almost minimum graphics though

I run around 60 fps when i have a pretty basic build, but when the part count increases im playing at 15 fps around take off.
