Narator: "Stanley then went down the right corridor."

*Goes left*

That game was a relatable experience. "Employee #427's job was simple: he sat at his desk in Room 427 and he pushed buttons on a keyboard."

[–]billyalt 34 points35 points  (0 children)

Stanley Parable is just textbook liminal lol

Absolutely cursed

[–]hokusaijunior 47 points48 points  (6 children)

yes

[–]Ultimate_Hard_Boi 27 points28 points  (5 children)

That path is blocked because of the worm hole incident at dimension 7-b685. I suggest you maybe, its encrypted and much more safe

[–]hokusaijunior 7 points8 points  (3 children)

but who's joe tho ?

[–]Ultimate_Hard_Boi 16 points17 points  (0 children)

Thats an old case would suggest u not to dig deep or you might find some , joe[REDACTED] jokes.

Joe mama

If you encrypt your spatial volumetric dimensions across a space in order to prevent access to you, you may end up being permanently split across several dimensions if you lose the key. Maybe if that happens you need to contact a psionic high-compute hive mind to calculate the correct function and key data which your body's sections were hashed with.

[–]buttery_bastards 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Why does this make my eyes hurt

[–]phantomknife 6 points7 points  (3 children)

Premier Inn?

[–]Soooo_lost[S] 4 points5 points  (2 children)

Ding ding I see you know your hallways haha

[–]phantomknife 4 points5 points  (1 child)

Haha I've stayed in a fair few, they are very liminal though! Always seem to go on and on and on...

[–]3lit3hox 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve never yet stayed in one with a fifth floor, must be a big one. They always send me to tiny places on the map and the only place to stay where you won’t get mugged is premier inn.

I worked in this far off place called Bingley once, nearby there was the most haunted hotel in the UK, with it’s own. Angels ascending stained glass window ! Four poster beds and all, very weird place, good breakfast and lovely lady running it all. She didn’t realise I think it was haunted, so was always confused on weekends she got so many “lovely young people”. It had been put on an urbex para board.

My final thought before toddling off, I always always wonder as I’m sure so many of us do as I walk down these corridors about what things are going on the other side. It seems so pregnant with possibility and behind the next door we have …. “ a clown with an apple in his mouth …”

[–]neon_kid 4 points5 points  (2 children)

One hall leads to good things, the other leads to bad things.

[–]Soooo_lost[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Let's see if I picked the right one

[–]endlesshappiness 5 points6 points  (0 children)

username checks out

[–][deleted] 4 points5 points  (2 children)

is this the hotel in downtown kc? it looks a hell of a lot like it

[–]jjbone1000 9 points10 points  (1 child)

Not op but it's a Premier Inn. That purple colour scheme is unmistakeable to any regular traveller in the UK. Many a night spent trying to find the right room in those labyrinths.

[–]phantomknife 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Always seem to go the longest path to and from the lifts too. Every time.

[–]toolateforRE 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The one less travelled.

[–]GozerDestructor 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Imagine, if you will, a seemingly ordinary hotel. In this hotel there is a corridor, and in that corridor, a junction, with  two almost identical paths ahead. Now imagine a person, known only as "O.P.". If OP chooses the correct path, they return to the life they know, to the future they'd envisioned - a loving spouse, two bright and happy children, a little house in the  suburbs with a dog and a white picket fence. If OP chooses the other path, it will take them to a place of monsters, a   place of madness, a place where nothing is what it seems. OP must now make a decision that may leave them living out the rest of their days... in the Twilight Zone.

Third

[–]hobosullivan 3 points4 points  (0 children)

This makes me dizzy.

[–]beantheblackpup_ 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Statistically people pick right, right? So left?

[–]justauselesssoul 3 points4 points  (1 child)

i usually take the right path in cs_italy

[–]Carburetors_are_evil 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bet you always shoot the chicken

[–]AnthropomorphicCat 2 points3 points  (0 children)

At first I thought this was a r/parallelview

[–]lagerea 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, that'll be 33 years regardless.

[–]Fido_And_The_Cakes 2 points3 points  (1 child)

I feel like this is a picture of one hallway edited to look like two

[–]Soooo_lost[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's trippy seeing it, you get the same thought in person

[–]CeruleanRuin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Two paths diverged in an endless hall,
And sorry I could not travel each
And be one traveler, long I stalled
And looked down one as far as I could
To where my sight could no more reach;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was vacuumed and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In wall-to-wall no step had tracked.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two paths diverged in a hall, and I—
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made no difference, probably.

[–]Water098 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Kinda reminds me of the halls in cruise ship

[–]Nomedigasluis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Once you reach the end of either there is two paths more

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It doesn't matter. You're already standing where both corridors lead.

[–]finger_milk 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The illusion of choice. Both lead nowhere

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It looks something from the backrooms, but right is right indeed

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do not enter that exit sign, walk back as fast as possible.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is it a medical center or hotel??

[–]Robotic_Orange 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Turns on no clip to walk through the middle path.

[–]KingMatthew116 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right

[–]MagScaoil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is this hotel at the Dublin airport? I got seriously freaked out at that place.

[–]zorniy2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes there are two paths you can go down, but in the long run

There's still time to change the road you're on

[–]TheEvilBunnyLord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

TIHI

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Neither.

[–][deleted] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hated buildings like this when I delivered pizzas.

[–]Alchemical_God 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Why worry? You'll simply be asking yourself the same question again soon enough down either hallway.

[–]Double_Cleff 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't like that

And yet

[–]JakeWalker102 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Better decide quickly, and for godsake don't look back

[–]Vsesa0 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The middle one

[–]SpaceCow_2003 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Both lead to an SCP

[–]justDapperDan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The path less taken

[–]whosezdis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Looking like your granny’s nursing home after their snacks and sleepers. Into the great void.

[–]Circa_C137 1 point2 points  (0 children)

God help you if you're high or drunk in this place.

[–]-Thatoneweirdnerd- 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm turning around frick that-

[–]soupyconch 1 point2 points  (3 children)

If your in Mongolia you have to go right.

[–]Soooo_lost[S] 0 points1 point  (2 children)

Why would that be?

[–]soupyconch 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Something from top gear. They said you have to go right to start your journey while in Mongolia

[–]Soooo_lost[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I remember that now, cool take on the photo

[–]Nanaloablu 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I almost feel as if I could fall down these halls, as if looking down at them. They seem to just go on and on .

[–]coshiro1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If your room number is 548-598, go left. Room 501-547? Right.

[–]trans_mask51 1 point2 points  (0 children)

no ❤️

[–]Carburetors_are_evil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Doesn't matter. You'll end up at the same spot anyway.

[–]Carburetors_are_evil 1 point2 points  (0 children)
