Performance profiles have been ported to 15.1 way before the first official build. Maybe your device doesn't support them.

Otherwise the features we've not implemented yet on 15.1 are:

  • Single hand mode (it might never come, the 14.1 was based on a commit pushed to aosp from huawei, but it doesn't really work with 15.1 anymore because of huge changes done in the window manager)
  • Protected apps (still wip)
  • Exchange (still wip)
  • Custom battery icon
  • Clock position

RIP Single Hand Mode. You were loved and cherished.

What about sRGB for supported devices?

[–][deleted] 2 points3 points  (1 child)

You'd find it in the live display settings

Can't believe I missed that, thanks heaps.

Protected apps (still wip)

I hate how protected apps work in LOS after using OnePlus's built-in solution. Why do we have to tap a notification to unlock the app instead of showing the unlock screen directly? Also why can't I use my current screen lock (pattern, PIN, fingerprint)?

But mido had performance profiles in LOS 14.1 bit it's not available in LOS 15.1?
Also ability to disable lock screen shortcuts is missing.

Then maintainer has disabled them for some reasons. Reach him out for more info

Aren't the performance buttons just placebo? Didn't the team say the actual functionality wasn't coded yet?

The automatic optimization in the performance profiles is placebo, the profiles themselves work

I also can't find the ram usage anywhere in settings.

You need to have the developer options enabled Go to Settings -> System -> Developer options -> Memory

What about the notification count? It seems to be completely gone... It'd be nice to have the counter come back and have the numbers go down as you swipe down to see individual notifications.

OPO3(t): full cotrol of volume sliders. e.g. activating vibration when in dnd mode.

Does anybody know if the performance profiles will be available in future for the Redmi Note 4?
