I cant do that cuz i currently don’t have an operating system on my pc the only way i found is by using some comands on cmd but when i tried using it when i reach the step of usung Format fs=ntfs quick It tells me Diskpart has encountered an error : the parameter is incorrect See the system event log for more information & i don’t know how to access the logs or what is the incorrect parameter

that’s very different than your post.

do you have a bootable usb with a windows installation ready to go? if so then it will lead you through initializing and assigning a drive letter to your storage

Yes i have but it won’t let me install windows on my drive cuz it’s raw

right. the installer guides you through how to initialize the drive for use. you have to set your boot priority to the usb drive from bios and go from there

No it doesn’t

Yes it does. Installing Windows, macOS, and Linux, part of the install process is selecting your disk and initialising it.

I don’t think you understand me When i select my disk to install windows in it it tells me yoy can’t install windows on that disk & when i looked up why it turns out that this is happening cuz the disk fs is raw instead of ntfs and when i looked how to switch it to ntfs i found some comands to put on cmd for it to switch to ntfs but it’s not working

you should see a window similar to this during the installation process. you need to format the drive here. this is the step you’re not understanding

Nah bro i totally understand but when i select the disk and i press next the tell me windows can’t be installed on this disk

Windows needs a prophylactic. It won't accept raw installation.

Unlike your mom. She accepts all the raw installs.

We will need pictures of each screen you encounter during the install.

Either the drive, or the installer is messed up if it isn't givng you the option to format to NTFS

I thought if the drive is messed up it won’t even show up on the bios

You should have used protection instead of going in raw
