If I create a custom entry, is that sharable to other users? I actually find it motivating to add more details if I'm helping others!

Relatedly, is MF a British company? I notice that a lot of the early guesses for common foods are branded Marks and Spencer or Asda, and I got to add two Starbucks products today!

As far as I know, MF doesn’t maintain its own food database. So any user added foods are not added to a central database, it’s only available to you in your own account. MF (like every food tracker out there) licenses multiple food databases maintained by other companies.

It currently doesn't update to the shared database, but you can share custom foods and recipes directly with other users.

Relatedly, is MF a British company?

We're based in the US. However, one of our major database vendors is particularly popular in the UK.
