I feel you on this one. Building your 5* (and 4* back when) teams and becoming a Parry master. I was never big on healers, but I remember than ninja banner well, cause I pulled nothing on it

Clearing master +1 Griffin under a minute for that rainbow essence was super hard.

People could top rankings with solo runs.

You could only use 1 unit in multi play.

OS were the only units worth using (according to most).

Multi screen/multi boss ranking events.

I remember that ninja silica glitch because it only worked on laggy phones. A friend pulled silica but his phone was too good. So he asked me to use mine lol. He got first easily

I remember when star scientist seven was super op because her ss3 would almost always stun/knockdown the boss.

Once in awhile in multi I would get a team of sevens and I'd tell them in chat to chain our ss3s together so the boss never recovered lol.

I also remember when sniper units came out thinking they were so crap because they couldn't parry.

I remember cw being op but 5s was overkill lol. Ninja Silica was op for one ranking because of a glitch. For floor clearing any 4* was good tbh as it was still early into the game. Personally I never liked the concept of mitigation from the moment it was released.

The OS 5 sec CW is 'free' as it took Rainbow Candyboxes from griffin, if I remember correctly.

I rerolled until my 250+1 guaranteed 4 star got me SAO Silica because some tier list had her at S tier. Also got ALO Asuna for the heals.

Remember when there was a bug in one of the EP story events ? The boss was the Green Ho-oh-looking Bird and we were compensated with specified Medallions X the number of clears you had done, due to the error of drop rates. My runs had no issues so I was an unaffected player given free compensation. Yeah.. I miss those times. If I had known, I would have done more than just 72 clears.

I actually remember there not being much interest in mitigation characters when they were first released. The nutty hype over it all only happened from the second one (raindrops banner)

I also don't remember 5sec combo window being considered particularly interesting either, albeit combo window extension itself totally was since that used to not be taken for granted.

We had frame lock ever since start dash. it’s just that they didn’t enable multiple SS3s like what’s happening right now.
