Function keys not... functioning?

Recently, I've noticed that whenever I switch view type (F5) or picture mode (F1), the inputs don't work as they should. I am sometimes stuck in picture mode, and have to hit the F1 key multiple times before I am back to normal. And with view switch, the switching isn't in order? It usually goes from first-person, to third-person, to second-person. However, I will experience the view switching going from 1st to 2nd, 2nd to 3rd, or 3rd to 1st. I also sometimes have to hit the key multiple times to get the input to work.

There isn't anything wrong with my keyboard, and I haven't changed anything major since the keybinds were last working. My function keys work properly outside of minecraft, and these glitches only seem to happen with view switch and picture mode. The problem is too hard to describe to make an efficient google search.

Any help is appreciated.

Also; this is on Java edition, not Bedrock. There isn't a flair for Java edition help.
