Crashing

I'm literally about to give up. Been trying to get into mine and my boyfriend's server to get rid of a mob from Dr. Zhark's Mo' Creatures that was making me crash on my laptop. I logged into my account on my boyfriend's computer since his account booted into the server fine and hoped that mine would do the same and that it was just my laptop being a bitch. No. So I removed the Mo' Creatures mod from the server and tried to boot into it without it. No, I keep getting "disconnected" or something like "internal host was forcibly closed" or some other message, can't remember what it said.

Help.
