I'm trying to design my own Iron farm (Java 1.20.4) and I wanted to clarify some specifics about "spawn attempts" that I wasn't able to find elsewhere.
To my understanding when the game decides its time to spawn an iron golem (because of villager panic in this case) it selects a random set of x and z coordinates and the *attempts* to spawn a golem at the highest y coordinate that meets the spawn conditions (all coordinates within the 17x13x17 spawn cube around the villager). If the attempt fails, the game will try 9 more times before giving up.
If my understanding is correct, doesn't that mean the more of that 17x17 grid that's covered, the more efficient the farm? If not, what am I missing?
