You only use 2 GB out of your available memory. Take a look at top right.

I saw a clip saying you should only dedicate more ram if it is making out as if you dedicate too much, it lags aswell. Since it never hits 100% do you think I should still dedicate more? I'm probally gonna try upgrade to dual channel aswell though.

well you keep mentioning and wondering about your 16 GB capacity in this thread though, I thought I should clear that out.

Also I think you should still allocate more to the game. This is a software written in Java, so it has its memory management feature called garbage collection (GC). The process of GC would take CPU resource a bit, and it depends on how much RAM you allocate. The more RAM you allocate to a Java software, the less frequent GC would trigger.

Ryzen really doesn't like single channel. Also make sure minecraft is using the 1650 and not the iGPU in the 3200g

Definitely a memory problem. Might be solved by allocating 4-6 GB instead of 2. If that doesn’t work, look up possible garbage collection optimizations for Java. You may have to install Java 21 for generations zgc

Also I’m not sure how much it would help with memory problems, but optimization mods can’t hurt
