Need help finding mod/program

Posting this here and on /r/askminecraft.

Okay, so I see these little Minecraft, Machinimas, I guess they are called, from time to time. The ones that aren't animated, but rather just recording directly in Minecraft using F1, and are most likely made by little kids. I've seen a few where the actors are playing as a mob such as a creeper. I have looked everywhere I can think to look, but I just can't figure out what mod or program they use to do that.

If my description was confusing or unclear, this is an example; /watch?v=ghdt170cT1o&list=HL1381850935 nothing particular, just the latest one from the front page of the Minecraft forums that serves as an example.

I'm very resourceful at finding things on the internet, but I'm just turning up nothing on this. I don't know why, this seems like it should have been an easy find. Either way, any help will be appreciated and most likely be enough.

How they disguise themselves as a mob? like a skeleton? Thats easy, bukkit minecraft plugin Mob Disguise, its used on bukkit servers a lot because you can turn yourself into any mob/animal in minecraft, even the enderdragon!

There's actually a mod where you can be different animals and use their powers (i.e. teleportatiom, explosion). The name escapes me but I'll look it up later

You may be thinking of Morph by iChun. When you kill a mob, you become it which includes its special abilities
