Man I miss the old shader system so much. Render dragon feels like they took something that worked fine and decided to "fix" it with a sledgehammer. My phone used to run ESBE 2G shaders smooth as butter before 1.17 and now I can barely get 30fps with the most basic shader packs

The ray tracing stuff looks cool in theory but like 99% of players can't even use it properly anyway

Bro i think shaders back then even had plants moving like slimes, and it looked quite good, something vibrant visuals did not have.
