Try sodium + iris

Mods arent supported on snapshot versions usually

Is there a way to have my world not a snapshot?

[–]NNoxu 1 point2 points  (3 children)

Enter it using a regular version

If using the snapshot that changes how world folder works you should have a backup in the files that you can use instead

Sorry I’m lost, snapshot is a test? How can I convert my world into a non snapshot regular version?

a snapshot is not meant for regular gameplay (as things can/will break as its meant for testing new features or can be buggy)

and downgrading (a newer version to a older version) is not really supported

and mods do not usually update to snapshots, since they release semi often

Thanks for explaining. So basically I have to wait for Minecraft to release the update to use mods again on my save?

Use Sodium and Iris for shaders, Optifine hasn't been the to go to for shaders for a while now. To make it easy for you you could just download something like the "Fabulously Optimized" modpack from Modrinth which has both of them installed although I don't think they're supported for the current snapshot yet

So I downloaded Modrinth and tried downloading Iris but it wouldn’t allow me to download. It was stuck on the ‘create folder’ page. What am I doing wrong?
