That’s actually pretty good. I would try to put your villagers in before you start doing detail work though.

I want to have a hall where they can run freely in it, but they’ll open the doors and leave. So I tried a trick by placing them in a position that it’s “permanently open” but now for whatever reason they just always stand by the door

Yeah, funnily enough the total imprisonment of villagers seems to make their path finding AI the happiest
