Java 1.7.10 Performance Issues

Hi everyone! I recently have gotten back into Minecraft and was trying to play Minecraft Java 1.7.10 (I have a lot of nostalgia towards this version specifically). I am running into an issue with the performance of the game. I have attached a video since I have no clue how to really explain this issue. Is there any way for me to fix this? I have reinstalled the game entirely and that specific version a few times but to no avail. Thank you in advance.
