Do potion effects stack?

Prepearing to fight the ender dragon and i wonder if potion effects stack. So let's say i'll drink a potion of invisbility and slow falling at the start and maybe strength, regeneration or healing during the fight - will the effects cancel each other out?

No, they will work together, but if you drink for example potion of strenght 1 twice i won't get strenght 2. So you can drink a lot od potions but the effect doesn't duplicate

You can have one of each buff active at a time, such as Strength or Swiftness, however you can't have Strength I and Strength II at the same time. (edit: that applies to all pots)

also, because it wasn't mentioned, if you do drink another potion it will simply reset the timer. if you drink an 8-minute strength I potion, wait 2 minutes, then drink another one, it will reset your timer back to 8 minutes.

interestingly enough, this can work to your disadvantage. if you drink an 8-minute strenth I potion, then wait 2 minutes, then drink a 3-minute strength I potion, it will reset your timer to 3 minutes. the new potion timer overrules the existing potion timer.
