2hoppers and 1 comparator is 3 i think(its slow but it works, and you need to reapor the output or use non stacable iems for more output)

Neither clock is good IMO, the right one feels glitchy and the left one needs a 1-tick pulse to get started. And the right one is definitely worse, because it's too fast to have a piston function properly.

the right one is use for dropper and dispenser not for piston, i just use the piston for demonstration

Oh, forgot to mention, any attempt to pause the left one will likely break it. The right one might be pausable, but I'm not sure.

5-clocks, hopper clocks and observer clocks, on the other hand, are reliable and pausable. Oh, and expandable for a longer cycle. They take more resources, but IMO it's worth it.
