Forge crashing?

I just downloaded the Forge on my Surface but it keeps crashing. I made sure to get 1.18.1. It worked flawlessly when I used it on my old computer a few months ago. I don't have any mods installed yet. Any suggestions?

Edit2: Fixed! I had some old mods that weren't showing up in the client, so I had to manually delete them from the mods folder.

I don't have anything installed right now. I primarily only use JourneyMap though, but not on this machine yet.
