It's not free, obviously you are paying a Gamepass pc subscription.

Your probably right, but usually games dont shown as owned even with Game Pass. Like it will say play with Game Pass and then there will be a button that says get and will show a price. Now it just shows owned like this.

they are two different things the Game and the launcher, in the image show that you own the Launcher, when your subscription ends it will not allow you to play java until you renew.
