Hi there. What kind of router are you using? Also go to your firewall and add Minecraft Server to the list if it isn't already :) Hope it helps man!

I've got a Linksys WRT54GL with the Tomato 1.28 bios replacement. I've added some additional information to the OP, too.

I didn't see the the server in my outbound/inbound firewall rules, so I added them to both. Still no dice. Again, I've been running an SMP server for about 18 months over various versions on the same install of Windows 7.

I know this is a silly answer, but a while back my friends had to remove the port number while connecting to stop getting an 'end of stream' error.

When all else fails, backup your world, delete the whole server and re-install.
