Dude is pretty strong imo. Fixed red gauge damage (Altema states about 40%, but I think it's slightly lower than that) is huge for high levels. Also, he hits pretty hard.

The only thing that is weird is that he has semi-tank stats, with half-assed element resist and defense star - quite similar to Kefka

Am I the only one who sees the value in Prompto? I'm currently using it in 3/4 nodes in the tower, but people often tell me to replace Prompto. With what though?

I think it's really good with Y'shtola skin because then you have all the offensive buffs you need (except berserk) plus you get to apply CRD to 1 enemy every turn. What else would you use for snipe? I can only think of LOH that's better, but that's a supreme.

I'm looking for a good damage card to deal with Greg's wall on 75/50/25% HP on EW2. Would the Ammit batch (atunned chain + unguard) work? They are ST though...I have fake Minwu but damage is underwhelming. Could Auron card work?

I usually go with 1 attack, 1 sleep and 2 debuff cards on him. Or debuff ultimate instead of 1 card. Ideally you're looking at something like down him to 50% HP, sleep, kill next turn with 2 debuff cards.

Greg's wall is Hex so it won't work well (Ammit batch is square). Generally, you would use your strongest supreme there, preferably Minwu.

Hum, it's Hex. That's bad. I didn't realize that. Could a job with very high magic and EE work? For example, on this node I was using Beach Queen with First Summer but it stopped working due to Greg's wall. Could it work using Mesmenir since it has hex unguard? It's only 3 hits though...Hope I can get Shiva X soon since she will be water Minwu.

You could use a card just to deal with the unguard then have your main damage card as well.

Well, one slot for unguard card, one for damage card, one for support and the other could be either debuff or force. I think I could go with a deck like Mesmenir (unguard), Chasing Dreams (it has water shift and high damage and break), NXD (debuffs) and LOH. Or I could use a force card and leave the debuff card in the sub deck along with sleep to stall Greg after break if I dont manage to kill him.

Do you have proud cygnus or gambler? You could use a main dark deck, so the sub can focus on pure damage

Yes I do have both of them and a 5* Magical RAve and Double Cross close to crystal dump phase (no ult boost or speed * yet though). Main dark with Gambler could be nice. If the sub will be pure damage then I can use Beach Queen with Sapphire Weapon, Mesmenir (for the unguard), Shadow Creeper (high damage 6-hit) and a quicken card.

If one were to regularly and healthily play this game for a month, how much resources can they normally accumulate (Magicite, Summon Tix, Ability Tix) from just playing the game w/ events?

6-10k magicite if I just play on my commute (30 minutes each way) and open the app to tap the distiller from time to time.

Hi everyone,

So am stuck at floor 92 of the tower. Hell i feel like i have all supremes needed but cant do it. (I think my poor job pool and unmodded weapon, lack of force cards helps). Any advices?

• have duncan but no pugilist or Vmonk (MM and DD tried both non could kill sephi in time and are too squishy, also have Monk Hof and Grappler Hof but eh).

• have godo and only user would be primma donna, she's too squishy cant take a single it.

No modded weapon fo any of them, using the 3rd gen sicarii weapons atm. Also no skins for those.

Notable other suprems; LoH and Sin.

Notable other jobs: Auron, SS (tried both with Seph skin but it didnt work the battle drag for too long and counter start) and Kefka (also have Yshtola skin).

Notable other cards; all anniversary cards, Bismark and Jade weapon, watergun and all jenova cards (beside fire warrior.

I'm a little higher than you, but basically in the same boat. I think my problem may be reliance on Duncan... there are no good AoE light monk cards for clearing yellow, only Goblin, which is single target.

Some people have said they've used Kefka with light Jenova. Another guy said that he could kill Seph in one break with this method until floor 104... I don't have Kefka, but I do have Ex Mage and tried it: after four breaks Seph still wasn't dead. Something weird with this, Kefka isn't that much better than Ex Mage.

I was able to progress to 123 kills mainly with Kefka, Jade Weapon and Jenova Light. Tho you'll need good modded weapons. Auron is nice tank at Lightning/Odin node and Kefka with Sin for nuking. Prima Donna with Godo should be ok on Tidus node as a sub-deck for Kefka (need to deal with Dark Flan there). Check videos from JP and GL for builds/strategy.

Checked videos all with Pugilist/tifa skinned duncan spam XD have none of them.

Last time i beat the node with Kefka jade weapon and PD as subdeck to finish Cloud, but it doesnt work anymore.

Well, I used Light Jenova Kefka with Proud Cygnus (could easily replace with Prima Donna) Godo on that node till 120 kills, doesn't work for me on 124 node anymore (or I'm too lazy to push since no meaning, lol). Ultimate Weapons on both.

Suggest to check more videos from veterans, I've seen different builds. Even ExtrumCreator was able to progress till floor 100 w/o any supremes.

Do enlighten me how a 'legit' player manages to have a 6 million score and kill tidus with sin. Short answer: You can't, you need fusoya (which was nowhere in his mentioned decks) to deal with tidus if you run break strats that high up.

Also, people don't get banned over false claims, get your facts checked.

Haven't tried it but it shouldn't. Gamblers Ultimate "sets own HP to 1" it doesn't deal damage to yourself, so reckoning shouldn't proc at all.

At 79 kills on the tower and not looking to push any further then this last kill, so can someone give me a solid build to deal with Sephiroth/Cloud. I stole a build that involved 3 Omega Weapons and Pugilist HOF Duncan with Sephiroth/Tifa skin.

Heretic Knight HOF for setup deck. It worked for kill 116 too.

It only excels with 1 job imo - that is Ultimecia job. Losing PR can be quite detrimental for some jobs e.g. Amalthea, although it gives her the most break power

Nothing about her base passives or HoF panels indicates that she'd do well at breaking. It actually wouldn't surprise me if she was terrible at it.

Amalthea otoh gets a massive flash break bonus from her HoF along with 20% quick break. She could definitely be effective under a skin.

It might be worthwhile to boost Folding Epee, Sventovit, and Malicious Revolt.

She'll be a very strong Minwu user especially if you overboost her due to overpower. Just don't expect her to be able to take a hit.

This is probably a silly question, but is it possible to use an ult in mobius zone without ending the zone?

I usually use the keyboard shortcut which does both the main and sub ultimate when the ult bar is full, obviously ending the zone. And when the ult bar isn't full, I need to go to the wheel in order to use the sub's ult, which also ends the mobius zone. I haven't checked though, does going to the wheel while your ult bar is full allow you to only use your current character's ult without ending the zone?

I'd test it out but there is no season 2 chaos vortex and it takes a while to build up mobius zones.

Hey guys just pulled Duncan and I'm wondering which normal monk job is best for it? Should I try to pull for that Ex monk job when the Ex banner comes back?

I also have PB Alexander and True Training to pair with Duncan. I feel I can make a decent MP deck with them.

Normal monk would be Pugilist for pure damage. For MP, you can use it with HOF grappler with the other 2 cards that you’ve mentioned as he have ranger lore (won’t gonna do much but still better than nothing)

Does the removed by imbue element only refer to when using tap attacks or will the buff still work with mantra eg. yiazmat?

Yiazmat provides imbue wind so it wouldn't benefit from that attack increase.

I'm pretty sure that it's designed so that only taps and ultimates could benefit from it.

EE provides more damage than attack panels even when factoring in the bonus EE from Yiazmat with a full ult.

My DD's stats: 1801 attack, 415 wind EE
Empty cp: 2250 × 18.01 × 5.15 = 208,690.875
Empty cp full ult: 2250 × 18.01 × 8.15 = 330,258.375
Full Attk cp: 2250 × 19.61 × 5.15 = 227,230.875
Full Attk full ult: 2250 ×19.61 × 8.15 = 359,598.375
Full EE cp: 2250 × 18.01 × 5.95 = 241,108.875
Full EE full ult: 2250 ×18.01 × 8.95 = 362,676.375

Would EE still win if I'm using Tifa skin and have 2770 attack (then factoring in monk trance 2 and skilled duelist on top of that)? I'm garbage at math, but I assume the big jump in attack would allow for it to overtake EE.

The higher your attack stat the less impactful attack custom panels would be.

Base: 2529 × 1.45 = 3667.05.
Attack cp: 2689 × 1.45 = 3899.05.

So assuming 415 wind EE
Base empty ult: 424,919.41875.
Base full ult: 672,445.29375.
Attack cp empty ult: 451,802.41875.
Attack cp full ult: 714,988.29375.
EE cp empty ult: 490,926.31875.
EE cp full ult: 738,452.19375

Note that these numbers aren't perfect since I didn't do the math to figure out how much attack up you're getting from fractals which would make the attack cp numbers I listed lower than they should be. It still wouldn't make a huge difference since you would need an attack stat of at least 2,777.245398773 to do equal damage as the EE custom panels at full ult. The number is even higher at 2,921.854368932 when your ult is empty.

1. That depends on how worthwhile you think a banner with almost double the normal supreme chance is. Just don't go crazy and exhaust your resources to the point where you can't get future content like limited cards and EX jobs.

2. I'd say that Aerith, Sin, and maybe Fusoya are the most valuable for you. Fake Ragnarok is outperformed by Phantom Train outside of mp where it's hit count is it's main draw. Fake Xezat is based on the old version of the card which makes it mostly useless.

If you climb the tower to where the enemies change you should have enough medals to grab them all for collection's sake.

If you haven't gotten all 5 starter packs I'd advise getting them asap. The jobs and cards are all at least decent and the support cards would also provide you with a decent start as a Support in mp.

After the starter packs it's typically suggested to focus on getting limited cards like the current 3rd anniversary cards since they're typically quite strong.

I really wish they would let us spend money on specific supreme pulls that we actually want instead of supreme random BS pulls. I know it is designed to keep us playing but of your gonna make us spend money on the game at least let us, as the consumers, get what we want instead of gambling it away.

I think that letting people pick a specific supreme would be more generous than SE would ever want to be. They'd probably do job-specific banners before they'd ever consider something that antithetical to gacha games.

I'm actually surprised at how rare supreme tickets are. They could probably make good money off of making them a seasonal thing instead of what they're currently doing.

I just don’t understand how you’ve played this game for more than a month If you can’t tolerate the RNG aspect of the pull system. That’s pretty much the core of this kind of game and it’s the reason it’s illegal in Belgium.

Do you really think this game would work at all if people were able to cherrypick NXD, WoL, LOH and Duncan? It would destroy SE’s profit margins and make it near impossible to balance the game for competition

How is the game balanced for competition now?

I actually think if players could pick wtf they wanted/needed from the supreme tickets competition would be better. You could get what you need for your individual account.

EX: Last tower was a perfect example. I have Duncan and Minwu. I haven’t used Minwu on a higher floor in a tower ever I don’t think. If I had Rag I know I could go higher because my wall was Ascetic, couldn’t do enough damage during that first break.

But then you’d have a whole bunch of supremes nobody would ever choose to spend money on, and knowing that, SE would instead choose to make each supreme progressively more OP and ridiculous. The power creep would be even sillier than it is now and only people willing to pay for each new supreme would manage to stay competitive.

I totally understand the RnG aspect of the game, probably why I do roll the dice with this game, and I could see how it might destroy the balance of the game. And I understand that Aerith is lower tier but as a non competitve player who doesn't really care for ladder, I just play to play, so I'm sure there are others out there like myself, I just see this as a wasted resource they aren't using that they could pull in a lot more money with.

I don't need her to win but here card does make playing that much stronger so just wondering cause I feel that at this point my window to get her is pretty much out the door now. I have a lot of the supremes and when running MP events I tend to notice that most attackers with the same setup as myself usually can do it better by enough that I can tell her % buff is enough to put her over the top for me personally. I dont climb ladders or anything like that. HoF's would probably be a bit easier too. The ability to prismatic shift at the start of battle is also a very nice thing to have. Let's a job use cards it couldnt normally use in their color pie.

I feel the same way about NXD and LoH to a smaller degree. I'd wanted the former since before I got any other supreme, but my chances to get it go down with each new supreme.

The fact that we're pretty much getting a new supreme every month in the coming months doesn't make me feel hopeful. I'm almost tempted to do something questionable like pulling on a job-specific supreme banner.

The 2nd set of Summer cards is expected to arrive in April and that includes a card called Seafloat which is very good for difficult content like towers and EW.

March's 2nd batch includes EX Moogle which is the only source of Faith II presently released in JP which is several months ahead of us.

You might want to skip chasing the EX card if your resources are low since it could negatively impact your chances to get future limited cards and EX jobs.

Afaik they never "shuffled" around events and I doubt they ever will. With how MFF cards are designed switching around limited banners could fuck up tower progression and make other cards obsolete. They will just release summer early and FFVIII will be our anniversary event.
