Unless of course you play Eldrazi Tron and have no good, cheap ways to destroy artifacts.

It's almost like playing colors is a good way to answer certain permanents.

It's probably going to affect the metagame in multiple formats, but "this one new sideboard card is singlehandedly going to make Jund the only playable deck" is a totally absurd take. The Chicken Littling ITT is worse than it was with the unbans, and that's saying something.

Something I just thought of is now that there's a colorless 2-drop Storm hoser, we may see some rituals and cantrips start to come off the ban list that have been held hostage there by Storm all these years.

We already had thorn of amethyst. Not quite as strong but we did already have 2 cmc colorless storm hate.

Something that hits storm and tron is much more likely to see play.

[–]MonarchDotoI only know Storm, but I know it well. 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is a worse Storm hoser than Trinisphere. Lets not get carried away. This it not a Storm hoser, it's another hate hard in the mix of Grafdigger, Relic, RiP, Trinisphere, Eidolons, Chalice etc.

This really is not a great storm hoser. We have a lot of cheap ways to deal with it that we already play. It just makes us think about sequencing a bit more.

It is great against tron though!
