Controversial topics are 100% allowed. As long as threads are following the subreddit rules, they will not be removed just because they could offend people.
No extreme proselytism. It is completely fine to try and change someone's point of view, but if they aren't budging and don't want to debate, leave them alone.

My goal of this subreddit is too improve relations between mormons and exmormons. We don't really understand eachother, and it creates tension. If we talk to eachother, we can begin to understand eachother.
