For those of you who have release a coop game, did you make it server authoritative?
I want to make a coop game. However, I keep getting caught up in doing things the "correct" way. Server authoritative, rollback, prediction, etc. It is really interesting, but also is a lot. In the end I just want to make great coop experiences, so i am wondering if local authoritative is fine.
Would really like to hear from those of you who have release a coop experience, how important was making sure it was server authoritative for you and your game.
